With over two decades of experience teaching voice and piano, Renee brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her students' musical journeys. Renee’s journey began with a degree in voice from Indiana Wesleyan University, where she honed her skills and was honored as a NATS winner. Furthering her expertise, Renee pursued vocal pedagogy at Shenandoah Conservatory, deepening her understanding of the intricacies of vocal technique and teaching methodologies. Throughout her career, she's been privileged to contribute to various musical projects, including serving as a featured solo artist on Sovereign Grace album projects, and leading worship at Mountainview Community Church and Listen Love Pray in Frederick, MD. In addition to her performance and worship leadership roles, she is deeply committed to music education. From conducting singing workshops and group classes to directing choirs and leading a caroling group, Renee has had the opportunity to share her passion for music with learners of all ages and backgrounds. As a member of the National Music Teacher Association and The Piano Guild, she stays connected with fellow educators and continues to refine her teaching practices. Now based in Urbana, Maryland, where she resides with her husband and three boys, she is dedicated to inspiring and empowering the next generation of musicians to discover the transformative power of music in their lives.
